In the forests of the city of Eugene, production of these goods has continued for nearly four decades as part of a legacy that dates back over a thousand years. We believe no industry is free from responsibility when it comes to protecting our environment. Being ‘Green’ is our priority. In Oregon, they’ve made it mandatory to plant three additional trees for each one harvested. As a result, one of the most sustainable forests in the world has been nurtured. There, exquisite hardwood is cut and processed in their private mills and factories. Since the operation is entirely local, little transportation is needed. This means fewer resources expended, leaving a very low carbon footprint.
