Medium to medium-firm offers firm support while soft enough to provide the conforming ability for your shoulders, hips, knees, and is generally a perfect firmness for small to average sized people. If you are a side sleeper our mattress will contour to the curves of your body, for men, women, and children. Medium Firm will allow just the right amount to relieve pressure points and keep your spine, neck, and back aligned. If you weigh more than 230 lbs. we recommend the firm to extra firm mattresses for optimal support. Tummy sleepers need a medium to firm mattresses because you need to keep your spine properly aligned but the mattress must be forgiving enough to reduce pressure on your stomach and rib area. Therefore you need a mattress not too firm and not too soft.
Blended Cotton
The cotton we use in our futon mattresses is an American grown natural fiber, elegantly lightweight, soft and supple to the touch. Cotton is naturally breathable, allowing for air circulation, and doesn’t tend to irritate the skin. Cotton is a firm fiber when used in our beds and in time packs down to create a firm sleeping surface.
Durable Soy-based Support Foam
Hybrid Soy-foam adds strength and comfort support as well as long-lasting durability to our futon mattresses. The high resistant foam made partially from soybeans ads consistent weight distribution for comfort and long life.
