The Ultra Breathable 2-Stage at Sleepworks Long Island starts with a firm, flat crib mattress for safety, then we add a breathable mattress pad to keep your baby cool and dry. The patented waterproof surface of the mattress protects the interior from urine, spit-up, and other messes, and it’s easy to wipe clean. Meanwhile, the breathable mattress pad maximizes airflow between the baby and mattress for a cool, comfortable sleep with less risk of overheating. The breathable mattress has an intelligent organic design that is free of flame retardant chemicals and other questionable materials. Our combination of organic, breathable, and practical makes the Ultra Breathable 2-Stage a healthier, safer crib mattress than conventional breathable designs.

Breathable for Safety and Comfort
The Ultra-Breathable Cover features a certified organic fabric quilted to a unique 3D spacer material and is designed to maximize airflow around the baby. While we strongly encourage parents to put their babies to sleep on their backs in accordance with CPSC recommendations, this breathable surface adds an additional layer of safety should the baby turn face-down into a compromised sleep position. It also dissipates heat and moisture for a more comfortable sleep. The mattress can be used with or without the breathable cover. Machine wash and dry. (Also available separately)
Organic Cotton Waterproof Fabric
Luxurious organic cotton fabric with easy-to-clean 100% polyethylene waterproof surface (so pure it meets food contact standards). Provides a stain resistant waterproof mattress cover. Also functions as a dust mite/bed bug barrier – no need for an additional dust mite encasing.
Organic Cotton Filling
Organic cotton is the purest form of cotton and a healthier alternative to synthetic fabrics and foams. Naturepedic uses only U.S. grown and certified organic cotton as filling for its mattresses and buys directly from USDA certified sources. This increases purity, organic reliability and support for U.S. farmers.
Firm Comfortable Support
Our patented wavesupport™ technology, made from pure food-grade polyethylene, provides excellent support and durability that rivals innersprings and premium foams. The wave structure achieves incredible strength with less material, offering an ultra lightweight design with increased structural stability as compared to conventional foams. It is both firm and comfortable, with strong side, center and corner support. NO polyurethane foam!
Seamless Waterproof Edges
Heat sealed waterproof seams provide a more contemporary look and also prevent moisture penetration for a more hygienic design. Dust mites and bed bugs can no longer live in the seams and enter through the sewn holes. This construction is also more durable as it reduces the possibility of the seam tearing or the thread breaking and unraveling. Wipes clean to the edge!

This is achieved through superior product design, the use of more natural materials (i.e. organic cotton fabric, organic cotton fiber and non-GMO potato-based PLA batting) and the elimination of polyurethane foam.
